opening plot

A girl found a doll sitting in a corner of her house. She was attracted to it immediately and doesn't question the odd appearance of the doll, even though the doll was all covered in dust and dirt.

She washed the doll clean and put it on her working table. 

After a while, her eyes were half closed. She went to wash her face and notice the doll at the edge of her eyes, but there was nothing.

She went to sleep, when she open her eyes, the doll was lying in front of her.

overall plot

After a girl named Jennie found a doll inside of her own house, her personality began to change little by little: from a kind, friendly person to a selfish and more introvert person. Her family were busy and not with her at the time, the only person notice this is her best friend from her school. She tried to find out the cause while Jennie's love for the doll is increasing.

I think the baby speaking sound part is perfect with the doll scene. And I can use this music to play in the background as the baby's speaking

there are also some sound effect I can use in the first video. but definitely not the screaming sound effect

idea for how the haunted doll is discover:

* the place I am going to film is in my house there is a stair to the second floor that is narrow. I am thinking of placing the doll at the corner, so when the main character walked up, she will find it sitting creepy in the corner. 

* the main character was asked to find something in an old cabinet. she bumped into the cabinet and the doll fell from somewhere. Or, she found the doll under a piles of things. 

the doll is certainly dirty, so I want to make a washing scene of the doll.

* it will focus on the doll's features: face, hands, hair (if have), and mostly at its eye, like it always watching.
* the water that passed through the doll will turn red

which method will the doll use to haunt the main character

* teleport to somewhere when the main character is not aware of

* appear behind the door when the main character opens

* turns its head toward the main character

* stare down at the main character in the moring

this is the first storyboard idea for the opening of the film opening:

the first shot shoots through the stuff animals then change to a long shot that covers all of them.

the main character then walk pass the camera with a doll she found.

this is another storyboard idea of how the doll started haunt the main character:
the setting will be around evening after dinner. the girl is doing her work on the desk facing away from the bed. The haunted doll can be seen in this shot. but after a close up shot of her work, the doll disappear from it position.
the girl wash her face in the bathroom when the doll appear beside her without her noticing. the close up shot of her eyes looking terrifying, and there is a glimpse of the doll head in that shot. the doll disappear when she turns to look.

conversation in thrillers + analysing Training day opening

The first scene introduce the setting in a diner and Jake, the police, who just walked in through the door to Alanzo, from a long shot, the second police who we wouldn’t recognised sitting in the scene before Jake walked up to him, because he wears all black (except for the shiny accessory on his neck and hands) and kind of blend in with the background characters. At first I thought Alanzo was a quiet, anti-social guy, but next he speaks angrily to Jake after a few interruptions. Turns out he only interesting in the entertainment the newspaper gives him. Jake, in the other hand, appears at first with confident. But after he spoke to Alanzo and get told to shut up, his confident suddenly fall, and try looking elsewhere awkwardly and nervous, like a rookie meeting an expert. Jake wears brown coat that doesn’t standout which can show that he is not a very interesting person or that he’s not much different from other people with the same job.

Next, Alanzo tells Jake to tell a story. His position change from being small to being big as he is controlling the conversation. While Jake is telling a story, it cuts to Alanzo putting his hand across the half of the table while Jake backs to the sofa. The close up shot of Alanzo’s eyes looks blankly at Jake throughout the story, and when his mouth’s open, Jake stops talking in confusion. Alanzo interests in the non-important part of Jake’s story makes Jake pause to think for many moments, and out of nowhere, asks Jake to pay the bill for him.

Alanzo’s emotion can be visual by his car. When he starts his vehicle, it shakes so much similarly to his unstable personality. We also see in the next shot that Jake gets the effect from his emotion by being shake in Alanzo’s car. The music at the end indicates that there has been a weird friendship bonds between them.
